1. What We Collect

When you use ChatClick we may collect:

  • Business URL — the website you submit for auditing
  • Email address — if you purchase a report or request follow-up, we collect your email to deliver your report and communicate with you
  • Usage data — pages visited, audit IDs, and anonymised analytics via PostHog to help us improve the product
  • Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Run your AI visibility audit and deliver your results
  • Send you your purchased report
  • Follow up if you've requested help with your AI visibility
  • Improve the accuracy and quality of our audits
  • Generate anonymised industry reports (no personally identifiable information is published)

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Outreach Emails

If your business was discovered through our competitive analysis pipeline, we may send you a cold outreach email informing you of your AI visibility results. Every email includes a clear unsubscribe link. If you wish to be removed from future outreach, click unsubscribe in any email or contact us directly at ryan@chatclick.io.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS infrastructure. Audit results are retained to power anonymised reports and product improvements. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Supabase — database and storage
  • PostHog — anonymised product analytics
  • Vercel — hosting and deployment
  • Instantly — outreach email sequencing

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of any marketing communications at any time

7. Cookies

We use minimal cookies — primarily for session management and anonymised analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
